AMLUCS 2026: Applied Machine Learning for Cyber Security Conference

The UK's only annual government-backed conference dedicated to the practical application of AI and machine learning in cybersecurity returns to London in September 2026
AMLUCS (Applied Machine Learning for Cyber Security Conference) returns for its fourth annual edition on 23-24 September 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. A not-for-profit, practitioner-led event supported by Dstl, NCSC, and Frazer-Nash Consultancy, AMLUCS is the UK’s only recurring technical conference dedicated entirely to the real-world intersection of AI/ML and cybersecurity.
Now expanding to a twin-track format and relocating to London for the first time, the 2026 conference is designed for security engineers, data scientists, researchers, vendors, policymakers, and operators working at the forefront of AI-enabled defence. The programme spans five core themes:
- AI security threats, vulnerabilities and mitigations
- Agent capabilities, offensive/defensive AI and cyber operations
- Multi-agent systems, architectures and secure design
- AI security governance, risk assessment and standards
- Explainability, interpretability and AI fairness in security contexts
Attendees can expect keynote sessions from leading international experts and UK government figures, practitioner panels on current challenges and emerging risks, and curated networking with peers working across applied AI and cybersecurity.
A two-day pre-conference training course on Validated AI Red Teaming for Production AI Systems runs on 21-22 September, offering a practical grounding for those looking to deepen their technical skills ahead of the main event.
