Azerbaijan will host the Critical Infrastructure Defence Challenge (CIDC-2025) on October 9–10, 2025, at the Baku Convention Centre. This flagship cybersecurity summit brings together government leaders, industry experts, innovators, and international stakeholders to address the evolving threats to critical infrastructure in the digital age.
The event features two main components: a Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities Competition, where teams from state institutions, banks, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure sectors compete in realistic cyber scenarios with a total prize fund of AZN 30,000, and a Cyber Conference, offering presentations and discussions on topics such as smart city cybersecurity, AI integration, and resilience strategies.
