Keynote Talks and Panel Sessions Include:
- Personal & Business OpSec - why should I care?- In this session, the Ladies of Cheltenham Hacking Society talk about critical links between personal and work operational security, why it’s important to pay attention to data breaches, and how to mitigate the risks associated with exposure of your personal data. Helen Major, Cyber Defence Analyst and Dr Nathalie Cole, Cyber Security Engineer will be leading the discussion
- The ‘Privacy Paradox’- Nicola Whiting is joined by Tamzin Greenfield, Sam Worgan, Amelia Rose, Abby Taylor & James Cowley for a student panel discussion, where they share their thoughts and attitudes towards data privacy
- Response, Recovery, Resilience, Readiness- Ben Aung - Chief Risk Officer at Sage, Colette Hanley, and a Senior Representative from Legal and General will share their experiences and thoughts on whether data breaches are now inevitable and how they can proliferate through an entire organisation. They will explore the full life cycle of data breaches, covering response, recovery, and resilience, and will provide key takeaways for any sized organisation to improve its readiness

- Afternoon Tea with the Ladies of Cheltenham- The Ladies of Cheltenham Hacking Society and special guests, the Security Queens, will be chatting about topics discussed in the event, sharing practical tips on keeping your personal data safe, and answering questions asked by the audience
- CGI: Data vs Convenience- If “data is the new oil” then we, as individuals, are the new reservoirs. Rather than being mined, we often give our resources freely in exchange for free services and convenience. But are we getting a fair deal?
- BPE: Data Trusts and The Information Flow - Sarah Kenshall from BPE Solicitors will lead a discussion on the topic of Data Trusts and how they facilitate the sharing of data
- Gloucestershire College: Discover Cyber Apprenticeships at Gloucestershire College- Julie Tegg from The Business Hub team will be answering commonly asked questions from employers about mentoring apprentices, funding, recruitment, and how apprenticeships fit alongside remote working
