The Department for International Trade (DIT) Spain is recruiting UK cyber security companies interested in joining a business development webinar with the four Spanish biggest banks - Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank and Sabadell.

This is a unique opportunity for innovative UK cyber security fintechs to learn about how the Spanish financial sector leaders perceive cyber security risks generally, and Insider Threat and Supply Chain Attacks in particular.

All UK companies who register their interest will be welcome to join the public side of the webinar (Trade & Cooperation Agreement implications, and the open panel discussion – sections 1 and 2 of the agenda), and will be sent an invitation to join the sessions in due course. In addition, a limited number of UK companies selected by the banks will be offered the opportunity to meet with their cyber security teams.*

Agenda

Session 1

Delivering UK cyber security exports under the new Trade & Cooperation Agreement with the EU.

Session 2

Discussion Panel on Insider Threat and Supply Chain Attacks. Panellists (TBC) will come from the UK Government or industry, Spanish banks and think tanks. The panellists’ scene setting debate will focus on innovation, future trends, and knowledge sharing issues, and will be followed by Q&A session. This session open to all UK companies interested in attending.

Session 3: 1-to-1 meetings (15 mins)

Companies invited to participate will have been selected by the banks during the recruitment process.

1-to-1 meetings eligibility criteria

All UK companies interested are required to fill out a questionnaire for evaluation by the Spanish banks. Only those selected will be invited to participate in the 1-to-1 session.

Deadline to send the questionnaire to the above emails is by 14 April.

To register for this webinar please send an expression of interest - and a request for the questionnaire - to Isaac Morillas - [email protected] or Fernando Pons - [email protected].
