JSaRC is a unit inside the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) within the Home Office and its objectives include:

  • Delivering a joint response to the UK’s national security challenges
  • Driving the delivery of the right security solutions
  • Supporting the growth of the security sector
  • Helping to identify and shape government security requirements
  • Helping to co-ordinate cross-government requirements
  • Supporting small and medium enterprises
  • helping build procurement knowledge and capabilities for those wishing to deal with government

This engagement day with JSaRC will provide techUK members with an update on JSaRC’s recent activities, an overview of how security companies can better engage with government and details of secondment opportunities within JSaRC.
