South West UK Chartering Chapter Start-up Meeting

A prospective ISC2 Chapter is forming across the South West UK and Wales, with an initial meeting taking place to begin the chartering process and welcome anyone interested in joining a new regional cyber security community.
The purpose of this initial meeting is to bring together cyber security professionals across the South West UK to begin the process of forming an ISC2 Chapter covering one of the largest ISC2 regions in England, including Wales. The meeting will cover the initial Charter plan, success plan, Charter Officer elections and a volunteer support call-out. As a Chartering Chapter at the first stage of development, the agenda will also include the Chapter application process and timeline.
ISC2 Chapters are hubs for cyber security professionals to connect, grow and give back, and are also a great way to build CPE credits. Whether attendees hold an ISC2 certification or not, the prospective South West UK Chapter welcomes all those interested in being part of an exciting new cyber community. With a great deal already taking place across the region, the Chapter aims to complement existing initiatives and looks to partner where possible to avoid duplication. Those interested in joining, whether as an active or passive member, are encouraged to attend this initial meeting.
