Women In Cyber

Women In Cyber is inviting you to join their networking event at cyberQuarter, Abertay University on Wednesday 1st March.

As part of Cyber Scotland Week 2023, this event has been put together in association with cyberQuarter and ScotlandIS to offer women the opportunity for networking, sharing and learning with other women in cyber security.

This Women in Cyber event includes Juliette Wilcox, UK Cyber Security Ambassador, Department of International Trade, and Jordan Schroeder, Managing CISO, Barrier Networks as special guests.

Subjects that will be covered include;

• The importance of managed service providers and cyber security in the supply chain.
• What roles are available for women in cyber?
• Comparison between tech/non-tech roles.
• Are there tech roles that women avoid due to out of hour work commitments?

This is a great opportunity to visit the innovative cyberQuarter – Scotland’s new hub for cybersecurity – and the event is not only for women; any male allies that are interested and supportive of this purpose are more than welcome!

This event is free and tea/coffee and lunch will be provided.
