Cyber Essentials Impact Evaluation – Please Share Your Organisation’s Experiences
The government's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) is responsible for strengthening the UK’s cyber resilience. Following a recent process evaluation of the Cyber Essentials scheme, DSIT has now commissioned Pye Tait Consulting to undertake an independent impact evaluation.
This evaluation is not in any way assessing individual organisations on their own cyber security measures, nor their implementation of Cyber Essentials technical controls.
Instead it will assess whether the scheme is having a positive impact in building cyber resilience and whether it represents value for money.
Please note that whilst some of the initial questions are similar to that of the recent process evaluation survey, this is a new survey with a different focus.
**Who is this survey aimed at?**
This survey is open to any organisation that either currently holds, or has previously held, Cyber Essentials (including Cyber Essential Plus) certification.
A separate comparison group survey is taking place among organisations that have never held Cyber Essentials. If your organisation has never held Cyber Essentials and you wish to have your say, please refer to the following survey instead:

The survey will close at 17:00 on Wednesday 6th December 2023.
