CyberFirst Student Bursary scheme
CyberFirst are looking for people with a desire to have an interesting and varied career in cyber security to join the CyberFirst Student Bursary scheme, which aims to help, support, and prepare undergraduates for a career in cyber security.
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) lead the bursary, and work with over 150 other government departments and selected industry members to offer students an excellent development package whilst studying for an undergraduate degree.
During the years you study at a UK university, you’ll receive a bursary of £4,000 per year, tax free. Each summer, you’ll either complete training at a CyberFirst Academy or an 8-week development placement with NCSC, a government body, or one of our industry members. You’ll receive a summer payment equivalent to £2,000.
In addition, you may receive a contribution to your accommodation costs.
Closing date for applications: 9th September at 17:00.
