**About this evaluation**

The government is working to make the UK the safest place to live and do business online. The government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) is responsible for strengthening the UK’s cyber resilience and has commissioned Pye Tait Consulting to evaluate the impact of one of its flagship schemes – the Cyber Essentials certification scheme.

**A key aspect of this** **evaluation is obtaining views from organisations that have never been Cyber Essentials certified. If your organisation has never held Cyber Essentials, then this survey is relevant to you.**

Note that the research questions are in **no way** aimed at assessing organisations’ own cyber security measures.

The survey will close at 17:00 on Wednesday 6th December 2023.
