Help shape the future of ethical standards in cyber security with the UKCSC newest focus group

The UK Cyber Security Council is reviewing its Ethical Principles for Individuals – the professional code that guides behaviour, decision-making, and accountability for cyber security practitioners across the UK. These Principles set the binding standard for over 800 cyber security professionals, and this review is your opportunity to influence how they evolve to meet today’s challenges. As a buyer or procurer of cyber security services, your insight will help ensure the updated Principles remain practical, relevant, and reflective of real-world expectations.

Join one of the online focus groups in September 2025 and share your experiences, views, and suggestions in a respectful, moderated discussion. No prior knowledge is needed – just your honest perspective. By contributing, you’ll be part of shaping guidance that supports ethical decision-making and strengthens trust in the profession.
