An EU-funded programme offering €75,000 in non-dilutive funding and tailored business support to women-led, early-stage deep tech startups, including those based in the UK

Women TechEU 2 EIC is an EU-funded programme designed to support women-led, early-stage deep tech startups across Europe. Selected startups will receive €75,000 in non-dilutive funding, alongside a personalised business development programme including mentoring, coaching and training.

The call follows a two-stage application process. Applicants must first complete the Eligibility Strand to confirm they meet the programme’s participation requirements, before being invited to submit a Full Proposal. The Eligibility Strand opens on 1 June 2026, with weekly cut-offs every Tuesday through to a final deadline of 13 July 2027.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • A woman founder or co-founder holding a top management position (CEO, CTO, CSO or equivalent) and at least 25% of company shares
  • The applicant being established in an EU Member State, outermost region, or Horizon Europe Associated Country, which includes the UK
  • The legal entity being registered for between six months and five years at the time of application
  • No prior EU funding for the same activities

The programme welcomes applications across a broad range of deep tech fields, including advanced connectivity and digital technologies, AI, biotechnologies, energy, quantum, robotics, and space and propulsion technologies.
